Andre Stainless is a top producer and distributor of Stainless Steel Chequered Plates in Pulau Ujong, Singapore. These plates have a unique, raised pattern to provide greater grip and lesser slippage, making them best suited for flooring, platforms, and walkways. Made from top–grade stainless steel grades such as 304, 316, or 201, these plates are characterized by corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and attractive appearance. Andre Stainless provides chequered plates of different thicknesses, sizes, and patterns to fulfill safety and structural necessities in industrial, commercial, and marine environments. Customization and quick delivery are among their value-added services.
Depending on the grade employed, stainless steel chequered plates normally consist of 16–18% chromium and 8–10% nickel (304) or 16–18% chromium and 2–3% molybdenum (316). The alloys ensure superior corrosion resistance, particularly in wet or chemically exposed conditions. Mechanical properties are tensile strengths of up to 600–700 MPa, yield strength of 200–300 MPa, and satisfactory elongation (40–50%). The elevated pattern provides mechanical grip with little reduction in strength. The plates maintain their shape and strength under traffic and load-carrying uses and can be welded, cut, and fabricated.
