Stainless Steel Angles are normally made from alloys like 304 (18% Cr, 8% Ni), 316 (16% Cr, 10% Ni, 2–3% Mo), and 201 (lower Ni, higher Mn). These grades provide superior corrosion resistance, tensile strength of 520–700 MPa, and yield strength of 210–300 MPa. They have good ductility (elongation ~40%), impact resistance, and weldability. 316 has superior performance in chloride-rich and sea environments, whereas 304 can be used for most structural applications. These angles can be supplied in hot-rolled or cold-formed conditions with smooth surfaces and close dimensional tolerances.
