The Stainless Steel 304/304L Angles consist of 18% chromium and 8% nickel, with the 304L version featuring a lower carbon content that enhances its weldability. These angles boast impressive mechanical properties, including a tensile strength of about 515 MPa and a yield strength of 205 MPa. The material also offers good elongation (at least 40%) and a Brinell hardness of 201. The lower carbon content in 304L helps reduce carbide precipitation during welding, which ensures long-lasting durability and corrosion resistance, particularly in tough or high-temperature settings.
