Andre Stainless, located in Singapore on Pulau Ujong, has built a solid reputation as a manufacturer and supplier of top-notch stainless steel components, including a diverse selection of Stainless Steel Sockets. These sockets are expertly designed to create strong, leak-proof connections and are crafted to meet international standards, making them a go-to choice in various industrial piping systems. With a commitment to quality, Andre Stainless utilizes advanced production techniques and high-grade raw materials to guarantee the reliability, durability, and corrosion resistance of their products. They cater to a range of industries, such as oil and gas, chemical processing, power generation, and water treatment, providing precision-engineered sockets that are customized to meet specific client needs.
Typically, Stainless Steel Sockets are made from 304, 304L, 316, or 316L stainless steel grades, all renowned for their outstanding corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. These materials contain 16–18% chromium, 8–13% nickel, and for the 316 grade, 2–3% molybdenum, which enhances resistance to chlorides and harsh conditions. On the mechanical side, these sockets boast a tensile strength ranging from 485–620 MPa and a yield strength of about 170–310 MPa. Thanks to their excellent ductility and weldability, stainless steel sockets maintain their integrity even under high pressure and temperature, making them perfect for secure and long-lasting pipe connections.

Our stainless steel sockets are manufactured to the highest quality. Each piece is thoroughly tested in terms of hardness, chemical analysis, PMI testing, flattening, as well as micro and macro test, pitting resistance, flaring, and IGC tests. We give documentation that includes commercial invoice, packing lists, Certificated of Origin, and a letter of guarantee for everything that’s put under transparency. To spice things, we have third-party inspection certificates that affirm the customer’s satisfaction and product quality.
Stainless steel sockets are highly resistant to corrosion due to their chromium content, but they may corrode under extreme conditions, such as exposure to harsh chemicals or seawater. Regular maintenance ensures longevity.
Stainless steel sockets can attract magnets if they are made from ferritic or martensitic stainless steel, which contain magnetic properties. However, austenitic stainless steel, commonly used, is non-magnetic.
Yes, stainless steel sockets can be recycled after use. Stainless steel is a highly recyclable material, and recycling it helps reduce environmental impact while conserving valuable resources.
Yes, stainless steel sockets can be used for underground applications. Their corrosion resistance makes them suitable for harsh environments, ensuring durability and performance in buried or underground installations.
Stainless Steel Sockets find their place in piping systems where robust and durable connections are essential. You’ll commonly see them in chemical processing plants, oil refineries, the food and beverage sector, pharmaceutical manufacturing, water supply systems, and shipbuilding. These sockets are used in both pressure and non-pressure piping to join pipes of the same diameter, ensuring leak-proof and corrosion-resistant joints. Their impressive strength and resistance to oxidation make them ideal for high-temperature and corrosive environments. Plus, they’re easy to install and maintain, enhancing the safety and efficiency of industrial flow systems.
