Andre Stainless is a dedicated manufacturer and supplier of Stainless Steel 422 Bolts based in Singapore, Pulau Ujong. They provide high-strength, heat-resistant fasteners that are essential for critical industrial applications. SS 422 is a hardenable martensitic stainless steel, celebrated for its impressive mechanical properties, oxidation resistance, and performance under high temperatures. Andre Stainless offers 422 bolts in a variety of sizes, thread types, and head designs, all adhering to international standards like ASTM A193. These bolts are perfect for use in turbines, power plants, aerospace components, and equipment that operates at high temperatures. With rigorous quality control and reliable delivery, Andre Stainless guarantees secure and durable fastening solutions in challenging environments.
Stainless Steel 422 Bolts are made up of about 11–13% chromium, 0.2–0.3% carbon, 0.8–1.25% molybdenum, and 0.2–0.4% vanadium, with nickel content around 0.5–1%. This martensitic stainless steel is known for its excellent hardenability and strength at high temperatures. When heat-treated, SS 422 bolts can reach tensile strengths over 860 MPa and yield strengths above 655 MPa. They maintain their mechanical integrity at temperatures ranging from 600 to 650°C. Additionally, the material shows good resistance to creep and stress rupture, making it a great choice for fasteners in rotating and high-load systems. These bolts are magnetic and offer moderate corrosion resistance in mildly aggressive environments.
