It has high tensile strength (up to 1200 MPa), yield strength (~1100 MPa), and hardness of up to HRC 44–48 following aging. The material possesses good fatigue resistance and retains a high degree of ductility (~7–9% elongation) even after processing. It incorporates corrosion resistance equal to that of 304 stainless steel with improved mechanical properties, making it ideal for uses where high strength as well as precision are paramount.
