Andre Stainless, which is based in Midland, UK, is a well-established maker and supplier of stainless steel slitting coils that are highly quality and performance oriented. Equipped with the latest manufacturing facilities and an unwavering focus on precision, Andres Stainless produces coils that are at par with industry standards. Designed for strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion, these slitting coils are offered in numerous different grades and dimensions. Reliable to customers in marine, aerospace, chemical, and oil & gas sectors, the coils are unparalleled for versatility. Used in either structural purposes or high-performance applications, Andre Stainless provides reliability, efficiency, and long-term value in each delivered product.
Andre Stainless‘s stainless steel slitting coils are generally made of iron with an equal addition of chromium (18–20%), nickel (8–12%), and trace elements like molybdenum or titanium based on the grade (e.g., 304, 316, or 430). These coils have high tensile strength (up to 620 MPa), good yield strength (approximately 250 MPa), and excellent elongation and hardness. They provide better corrosion resistance, oxidation protection, and high-temperature structural stability. Precision slitting improves dimensional tolerance and minimizes material loss, so they are well suited for precision-oriented and heavy–duty industrial uses.

Stainless steel slitted coils are precision-cut strips of stainless steel used in manufacturing. They offer high corrosion resistance, durability, and are commonly used in automotive, construction, and appliance industries.
Cold rolled slitted coils are steel strips processed at room temperature, offering improved surface finish, tight tolerances, and increased strength, widely used in automotive, electronics, and appliance manufacturing.
No.1 finished slitted coils are stainless steel strips with a rough, dull finish achieved through hot rolling and annealing, typically used in industrial applications where surface smoothness is not critical.
2B finished slitted coils are stainless steel strips with a smooth, reflective surface achieved through cold rolling, annealing, and descaling, ideal for applications requiring aesthetic appeal and corrosion resistance.
At Andre Stainless, the quality of materials forms the mainstay for ultimate customer satisfaction; thus, all our products such as stainless steel slitting coils undergo thorough quality testing. These quality tests include hardness tests, chemical analysis via spectro analysis, positive material identification (PMI) tests, flattening tests, examination micro and macro, pitting resistance tests, flaring tests, and finally Intergranular Corrosion (IGC) tests.
Yes, stainless steel slitting coils can be welded using techniques like TIG, MIG, or spot welding. Proper preparation, filler material selection, and heat control are essential for optimal results.
Yes, stainless steel slitting coils are suitable for natural gas applications due to their excellent corrosion resistance, durability, and ability to withstand high pressures and varying temperatures.
Yes, stainless steel slitting coils are ideal for hygienic and sanitary applications due to their non-reactive surface, corrosion resistance, and ease of cleaning, ensuring compliance with strict hygiene standards.
Yes, stainless steel slitting coils can be used for underground applications, offering excellent corrosion resistance, durability, and strength. Proper coating or protection may be required for long-term performance in harsh environments.
Stainless steel slitting coils find extensive application in various industries owing to their strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion. In the automotive sector, they are critical in the production of exhaust systems, trim, and engine parts. They are used in roofing, cladding, and framing in construction. They are used in kitchen appliances, medical instruments, and industrial machinery owing to their strength and hygienic surface. They are also highly used in the electronics industry for enclosures and connectors. Any application that demands precision fabrication, good looks, and long-term reliability is where they fit perfectly, such as high-pressure and high-temperature conditions.
