317L Stainless Steel Coils are low-carbon, high-alloy austenitic stainless steels containing about 18–20% chromium, 11–14% nickel, and 3–4% molybdenum, with less than 0.03% carbon. This alloy provides superior corrosion resistance, especially in acidic and chloride-containing conditions. Mechanically, 317L has high tensile strength (up to 620 MPa), good ductility, and excellent toughness over a broad range of temperatures. The alloy also provides improved resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, and good weldability, rendering it suitable for harsh industrial conditions.
