Stainless Steel 253MA is an austenitic alloy containing about 20–22% chromium, 10–12% nickel, 0.14–0.20% nitrogen, and small amounts of silicon and rare earth metals. It has a tensile strength of around 600–750 MPa and provides excellent creep resistance. This alloy offers outstanding oxidation resistance up to 1150°C while maintaining structural stability under prolonged thermal stress. Its high-temperature performance is improved by its nitrogen and rare earth metal content, making it superior to standard stainless grades.
