Singapore-based Andre Stainless provides Alloy 309LMo SAW wires and flux sets engineered for dissimilar metal submerged arc welding, buffer layers, and high-temperature overlays. This product brings together the best of Type 309L stainless, supplemented with molybdenum, for enhanced corrosion resistance. Andre Stainless assures consistent quality and availability to support hassle-free welding operations within Pulau Ujong‘s fabrication and industrial industries. Designed to provide consistent welding performance, reduced dilution, and great bead appearance, Alloy 309LMo SAW system is ideal for vessel builders, power plants, and petrochemical plants needing robust and efficient welding consumables.
The Alloy 309LMo SAW wire has approximately 23–25% chromium, 12–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum. Carbon level is below 0.04% to minimize sensitization. The weld deposit provides tensile strength of over 580 MPa and elongation of more than 30%. Its composition provides superior resistance to pitting and intergranular corrosion. The flux chemistry facilitates deep penetration and uniform slag removal in SAW mode. The blend provides crack-insensitive welds, high toughness, and good arc strength well suited for mechanized welding of overlay and transition welding.
