Andre Stainless offers AWS Class ER347 SAW wire and corresponding flux for welding Type 347 stabilized stainless steel. Columbium–titanium stabilization of the alloy resists sensitization and intergranular corrosion when used in high–temperature service. Andre Stainless, with its location in Pulau Ujong, Singapore, adheres to AWS standards and offers uniform batches for uninterrupted weld operations. The ER347 SAW system is highly adaptable for heavy fabrication projects in the petrochemical, power generation, and food industries. Its steady weld chemistry and strong arc properties help in sound manufacturing of industrial-grade stainless assembles.
ER347 wire has 17–19% chromium and 9–11% nickel and holds columbium/titanium in very low quantities for stabilization purposes. Carbon is within ≤0.08%. The tensile strength of the weld metal is found over 560 MPa, and at around 30%, elongation. The flux has been engineered with different heat input, controlled penetration, and flux-to-metal compatibility. Welds produced show excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion under thermal cycling. The system offers stable deposition, excellent microstructural stability in cyclic heating, and good mechanical properties under service conditions.

Alloy ER347 SAW and Flux are used for submerged arc welding of stainless steel, offering high resistance to intergranular corrosion, excellent strength, and a clean, slag-free weld for high-temperature applications.
AWS A5.9 ER347 SAW and Flux Welding Wire is designed for submerged arc welding of stainless steel, providing strong, durable welds with high resistance to intergranular corrosion and a clean, efficient finish.
AWS Class ER347 Submerged Arc Welding Flux provides excellent arc stability and a clean, slag-free weld. It enhances corrosion resistance and weld quality for high-temperature and stainless steel applications.
We uphold stringent quality standards for our AWS Class ER347 SAW and FLUX, subjecting them to rigorous testing. Our extensive tests encompass the Hardness Test, Chemical Analysis via Spector Analysis, PMI Testing, Flattening Test, Micro and Macro Tests, Pitting Resistance Test, Flaring Test, and Intergranular Corrosion (IGC) Test. Commercial invoice, packaging list, Certificate of Origin, and Guarantee Letter accompany our products. For added assurance, we offer third-party inspection certificates, validating the excellence and suitability of our AWS Class ER347 SAW and FLUX across various applications and ensuring client satisfaction.
Recommended for submerged arc welding of 347 stainless steels in applications for sustained high-temperature operation, boiler tubing, exhaust manifolds, superheater assemblies. It is also applied in chemical process equipment and food processing vessels that are subjected to high heat and thermal cycling. Stabilization offered by columbium/titanium inhibits carbide precipitation and weld durability. The ER347 SAW system is used extensively in power plants, refineries, and heavy fabrication plants where long-term corrosion resistance and creep resistance intergranularly is a must. High deposition rates make it effective for mass industrial welding.
