Dairy Spray Balls are typically made from SS 316L, offering superior resistance to chlorides and cleaning chemicals. This alloy includes 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum, providing excellent pitting and crevice corrosion resistance. The fittings carry a tensile strength of approximately 485 MPa and withstand mechanical integrity under cycles of high-pressure cleaning. Spray balls are slotted or precision-drilled to give consistent spray patterns and are polished to Ra ≤ 0.8 µm to accommodate hygienic demands. They work consistently in static and rotating set-ups for reproducible CIP cleaning performance.
