Dairy Tees are made from SS 304 or SS 316L stainless steel, making them resistant to process chemicals and durable. SS 316L has a better pitting resistance owing to molybdenum content. These tees have tensile strength of 485–620 MPa and exhibit good ductility, which indicates suitability for welding or clamp fitting. The internal surface is smooth (≤ 0.8 µm Ra), preventing contamination and facilitating hygienic flow. Constructed to withstand cleaning pressures and high temperatures, dairy tees ensure mechanical integrity under frequent CIP and SIP cycles in sensitive production conditions.
