EP Fittings are made of low-carbon SS 316L stainless steel that includes molybdenum for increased pitting and crevice corrosion resistance. The electropolishing operation produces an ultra-smooth surface finish (≤ 0.4 µm Ra), enhancing passivation and minimizing particulate adhesion. Constructed to resist repeated sterilization, high-temperature exposure, and chemical exposure, EP fittings retain dimensional stability and mechanical integrity under pressure, and they are perfectly suited for cleanroom and ultrapure applications.
