One of its flagship products includes Stainless Steel 446 Tubing, appreciated for its greater resistance to heat as well as corrosion. Made of high-temperature and corrosive-resistant materials, this tube is a testament to the innovation, dependability, and customer focus of Andre Stainless. With international reach and emphasis on quality, Andre Stainless remains the trusted partner in industrial needs globally.
Stainless Steel 446 is an austenitic, heat-resistant ferritic alloy made up mainly of 23–27% chromium, with minute amounts of molybdenum, silicon, and nickel. Its substantial chromium content promotes resistance to oxidation, sulfidation, and other high-temperature corrosion. The alloy exhibits mechanical stability up to 1100°C temperature. It possesses tensile strength (approximately 485 MPa), low thermal expansion, and excellent creep properties. Stainless Steel 446 tubing is resistant to thermal cycling, hence suitable for hostile industrial conditions where there is minimal need for maintenance and maximum resistance.
