316 Stainless Steel Nuts are produced from a molybdenum-containing austenitic stainless steel alloy containing about 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum. They come with this combination to provide improved resistance against chloride-induced corrosion, thus suitable for chemical processing and marine environments. They have good mechanical properties such as tensile strength of 520–700 MPa, high impact strength, and good ductility.
