Nuts of Stainless Steel 316Ti are produced using a titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel alloy. The chemical composition comprises about 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and 0.5–0.8% titanium, which provides intergranular corrosion resistance and stops carbide precipitation upon welding. These nuts possess superior mechanical strength, with high tensile and yield strength, and improved creep resistance at high temperatures. The superior oxidation resistance and thermal cycling stability of the alloy qualify it for high-stress, corrosive, and high-temperature service conditions in critical applications.
