Stainless Steel 446 Nuts are made from ferritic stainless steel with 23% to 27% chromium and minimal carbon, with possible additions of molybdenum to enhance heat resistance. These nuts have a tensile strength of about 485 MPa and a yield strength of around 275 MPa.
