Stainless Steel 316/316L Forged Fittings are primarily made up of iron, chromium, nickel, and molybdenum. The inclusion of molybdenum significantly boosts corrosion resistance, especially in chloride environments. Stainless Steel 316 typically contains around 16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel, and 2-3% molybdenum, while 316L features a lower carbon content, enhancing its weldability.
