Stainless Steel 410 Pipes are made from a martensitic stainless steel alloy comprising 11.5–13.5% chromium and approximately 0.15% carbon, with the advantages of a high strength balance of hardness, wear resistance, and a moderate level of corrosion resistance. The pipes have a tensile strength of 550–750 MPa and a yield strength of 205 MPa and can be hardened to 40 HRC. The alloy provides toughness and favorable ductility, particularly following heat treatment, and hence is adequate for mechanical and structural use under conditions of high temperature and corrosiveness.
