Andre Stainless provides high-performance AWS Class ER309LSi MIG and TIG welding filler wires and rods in Pulau Ujong, Singapore. The filler metals are specifically alloyed for weld dissimilar metals and stainless to carbon steels with increased Silicon (Si) content for enhanced wetting action and better bead appearance. ER309LSi is commonly used for manual and automatic welding for processes where clean welds and corrosion resistance are desired. Andre Stainless guarantees that each wire is produced according to AWS A5.9 specifications, ensuring consistent arc performance, low spatter, and improved flow for excellent weld quality in structural and industrial applications.
ER309LSi has a composition of 22–24% Chromium, 12–14% Nickel, <0.03% Carbon, and 0.65–1.0% Silicon. The high Silicon enhances puddle fluidity and weld appearance. These wires have tensile strength of approximately 600 MPa and yield strength of 400 MPa. The weld metal provides good corrosion resistance and superior oxidation resistance up to 950°C. ER309LSi is well suited for spray transfer MIG and accurate TIG welding with smooth arc behavior and low porosity. It is suitable for joining two different metals and conforms to AWS A5.9 specifications and provides better productivity in semi-automatic or robotic welding applications.

ER309LSi filler wires are utilized to weld stainless steels to carbon or mild steels in structural uses, tanks, and piping.
