ER320LR contains 19-21% Chromium, 32-38% Nickel, along with Molybdenum (2-3%), Columbium (Niobium), and very low carbon (<0.02%). It offers great resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Typical mechanical properties include tensile strength of 85,000 psi (586 MPa), yield strength of 60,000 psi (414 MPa), and elongation of about 30%. The low carbon and low residuals minimize sensitization while promoting high ductility and corrosion resistance after welding. This product is suitable for fully austenitic microstructures.
