Andre Stainless provides AWS Class ER316 and ER316H MIG and TIG filler wires and rods for welding Type 316 stainless steels. The presence of molybdenum offers strong resistance to chlorides and acidic environments. Shipped from Pulau Ujong, Singapore, Andre Stainless guarantees dependable stock and welding performance support. ER316L creates corrosion-resistant, low-carbon welds, while ER316H includes higher carbon for better strength at high temperatures. These fillers produce smooth arcs, minimal spatter, and attractive welds, making them suitable for industrial and hygienic applications.
Both fillers contain approximately 18-20% chromium, 11-14% nickel, and 2-3% molybdenum. ER316L has carbon at or below 0.04%; ER316H has more carbon for strength at elevated temperatures. Weld deposits reach tensile strength of about 560-580 MPa, with elongation exceeding 30%. The silicon-enhanced flux improves arc fluidity and creates clean welds in MIG/TIG applications. Molybdenum enhances resistance to chloride and crevice corrosion. ER316H offers better creep performance at high temperatures, while ER316L focuses on corrosion resistance in sanitary settings.
