Andre Stainless is a reputable manufacturer and supplier of welding products in Pulau ujong, Pulau Ujong. Our AWS Class E308/308L-16 stainless steel electrodes provide superior performance for welding 18Cr-8Ni austenitic stainless steels. These low-carbon electrodes offer excellent corrosion resistance, crack resistance, and are easy to use in any welding position. E308/308L-16 electrodes are made to meet strict AWS and ASME standards, ensuring consistent quality for industrial fabrication, pressure vessels, and piping systems. Trusted by professionals in construction, shipbuilding, and petrochemical sectors, Andre Stainless ensures reliable products with strong weldability and exceptional mechanical performance after welding.
E308/308L-16 electrodes consist mainly of Chromium (19–21%), Nickel (9–11%), and low Carbon (<0.04%) to minimize carbide precipitation and intergranular corrosion. They have excellent resistance to oxidation and general corrosion. Mechanical properties include a tensile strength of about 570 MPa, yield strength of 400 MPa, and elongation of around 30%. These electrodes produce low spatter, allow easy slag removal, and maintain stable arc characteristics, making them suitable for flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead welding. They conform to AWS A5.4 and ASME SFA-5.4 requirements.
