Andre Stainless offers AWS Class E630-16 Electrodes, specifically formulated for welding precipitation-hardened stainless steel (17-4 PH). These electrodes provide strength, corrosion resistance, and machinability in aerospace and marine applications. Andre Stainless provides quality assurance and certification for harsh environments in Singapore‘s high-spec industries. The E630-16 electrode is particularly suitable for structural parts, turbines, and shaft repairs with high mechanical integrity. Due to great weldability and equal mechanical properties after heat treatment, the product facilitates critical use where strength and reliability are both demanded.
15–17% chromium, 3–5% nickel, 3–5% copper, and traces of niobium and columbium are present in the electrode. The product provides tensile strength greater than 850 MPa upon aging, yield strength of about 750 MPa, and excellent elongation. It is responsive to post-weld heat treatment and offers high hardness and fatigue strength. These electrodes offer stable arc, smooth beads, and low porosity. AC/DC suitable, they ensure tough weld metal for 17-4 PH and other martensitic stainless steels demanding aging for strength.
