Andre Stainless is a reputable seller of AWS Class E410-16 stainless steel electrodes in Pulau ujong, Pulau Ujong. The electrodes are intended for the welding of martensitic stainless steels and suit applications where high hardness, wear resistance, and moderate corrosion resistance are needed. E410-16 electrodes are applicable to 12% chromium steels employed in turbine parts, valves, and shafts. With superior arc stability and smooth slag removal, our electrodes provide clean weld profiles and excellent mechanical strength. Produced under rigorous quality controls, Andre Stainless provides compliance with AWS A5.4 standards for reliable performance in harsh environments.
E410-16 electrodes have 11.5–13.5% Chromium with limited Carbon and no deliberate Nickel or Molybdenum additions. They yield an air-hardenable martensitic weld metal that could be post-weld heat-treated. Properties are tensile strength of approximately 620 MPa, yield strength of 450 MPa, and 200–250 HB hardness in the as-welded state. These electrodes can be used with AC or DC power and show stable arcs with minimal spatter. AWS A5.4 compliance guarantees fitness for use with typical 410 stainless base materials in structural and pressure service.

This includes a commercial invoice, packing list, heat treatment chart, fumigation certificate and a quality assurance plan. Additionally, we offer a lab test report approved by NABL. For further assurance, we supply an MTC in accordance with EN 10204/3.1b, a PMI Test Certificate, a 100% radiography test report and a Third Party Inspection Certificate. Our comprehensive documentation reflects our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
AWS E410-16 electrodes are mainly employed for welding type 410 and other martensitic stainless steels deployed in high-strength, moderate corrosion conditions. Applications are turbine blades, pump shafts, valve seats, heat-treated tools, and certain components of petrochemical equipment. The electrodes also find application in hardfacing parts requiring abrasion and wear resistance. Preheating and post-weld heat treatment are usually suggested to enhance ductility and minimize brittleness. E410-16 finds application in maintenance and repair applications where parts are subjected to moderate corrosion and extreme mechanical loading in power, oil, and heavy engineering industries.
