Andre Stainless is a renowned manufacturer and distributor of AWS Class E320LR-16 stainless steel electrodes in Pulau ujong, Pulau Ujong. These electrodes are specifically designed for welding highly corrosion-resistant, molybdenum, columbium (niobium), and titanium-bearing austenitic stainless steels. E320LR-16 is the low-carbon variant of E320, providing enhanced weld ductility and minimized cracking under corrosive or high-stress conditions. Andre Stainless produces all of its electrodes to the strictest AWS specifications, providing exact arc control, smooth slag removal, and high mechanical strength. Andre Stainless products are extensively utilized in chemical processing, food equipment, and marine applications where ultimate corrosion resistance is paramount.
E320LR-16 electrodes have a typical composition of Chromium (19–21%), Nickel (32–36%), Molybdenum (2–3%), and controlled low Carbon (<0.03%) for high weld metal ductility. Inclusion of Columbium (Nb) and Titanium gives thermal cycling stability and resists intergranular corrosion. Mechanical characteristics are tensile strength of about 550–620 MPa, yield strength of 400 MPa, and good impact strength. The electrodes are to AWS A5.4/SFA-5.4 specifications and can be used in any position using AC or DC current. With application for crack resistance and corrosion protection, they provide tough welds in difficult alloy systems.

These electrodes offer excellent corrosion resistance and are suitable for welding stainless steel structures. They come in various diameters, such as 2.5 mm, 3.2 mm, and 4.0 mm. The light coating facilitates smooth arc stability and minimal spatter.
Providing superior corrosion resistance, heavy-coated electrodes are ideal for high-stress applications. They are available in diameters of 3.2 mm, 4.0 mm, and 5.0 mm. The heavy coating enhances the weld’s integrity and improves its resistance to oxidation.
With excellent corrosion resistance, these electrodes are designed for shielded arc welding of stainless steel. They are typically available in 2.5 mm, 3.2 mm, and 4.0 mm. The shielded arc provides enhanced protection against contamination during welding.
We ensure full transparency of our AWS Class E320LR-16 Electrodes with high-quality assurance. All orders come with essential documents, including a commercial invoice, packing list, fumigation certificate, heat treatment chart and an NABL-approved lab test report. We provide a Material Test Certificate per EN 10204/3.1b, PMI Test Certificate, 100% radiography test report and Third-Party Inspection Certificate. Our comprehensive documentation is arranged to ensure maximum client satisfaction.
E320LR-16 electrodes are designed to weld 20Cr-35Ni-Mo stabilized stainless steels under very corrosive and high-temperature conditions. They are used for welding process piping, valves, and pumps in the chemical and food processing industries, as well as marine conditions where chloride stress corrosion is a factor. They are particularly beneficial in welding alloys like UNS S32003 and analogous materials. Their stabilized chemistry and low carbon content give them resistance to embrittlement and weld decay. They are also appropriate for welding wrought and cast parts exposed to aggressive chemicals and heat, providing strength and durability in service.
