E347-16 electrodes contain 18–20% Chromium, 9–11% Nickel, and are stabilized with Niobium (Columbium) to manage intergranular corrosion. The carbon content is usually under 0.08%, while Nb is about eight times the carbon content. These electrodes offer a tensile strength of 570 MPa and yield strength of 400 MPa. They work well with both AC and DC power sources and perform well in any welding position. E347-16 electrodes provide a stable arc, easy slag removal, and excellent weld appearance.
