Stainless Steel 13‑8 PH Bar is a strength–stable, precipitation-hardenable martensitic stainless alloy with superior corrosion resistance, toughness, and dimensional stability. Supplied by Andre Stainless in Pulau Ujong, Singapore, the bars are heat treated to achieve optimum mechanical properties while not sacrificing machinability. Suitable for high-performance applications, 13‑8 PH ensures consistent performance in marine, aerospace, and petrochemical industries. Andre Stainless offers certification to ASTM A564, close bar tolerances, and consistent material quality. Due to its superior fatigue resistance and stress–corrosion resistance, the alloy is favored in safety-related components where high strength-to-weight and long-term reliability are required.
13‑8 PH has ~13% chromium, ~8% nickel, ~2% copper, 0.3–0.6% aluminum, and 0.1–0.3% titanium; carbon ≤0.07%. For the H925 temper, tensile strength is ~1,010 MPa, yield strength ~900 MPa, elongation ~10%, and hardness ~35 HRC. Microstructure in this alloy is martensitic with fine precipitates, allowing for superior fatigue and stress‑corrosion performance. The alloy exhibits toughness at sub-zero temperatures and resists chloride cracking. The alloy responds favorably to surface machining and heat treatment, remaining stable with little distortion. Certified to ASTM A564, bars show superior uniformity in mechanical characteristics.
