SS 310H has 24–26% chromium, 19–22% nickel, carbon ≥0.04% (generally ~0.06–0.10%), and minimal amounts of manganese, silicon, and phosphorus. In annealed condition, it offers a tensile strength of ~515 MPa, yield strength of ~205 MPa, and elongation of ~40%. It is a higher carbon alternative that enhances creep strength at high temperatures. It resists scaling and deforming until 1150°C and retains strength in oxidizing and reducing conditions. Non-magnetic in annealed condition, 310H possesses superior weldability and structural integrity and is best for high-heat, high-load applications.
