Stainless Steel 17-4 PH Plate and Sheets are martensitic precipitation-hardened stainless steels that provide an exceptional combination of high strength, corrosion resistance, and hardness. Provided by Andre Stainless, these plates are well-suited for applications that demand structural properties and corrosion resistance in extreme conditions. 17-4 PH is simple to weld and heat–treat and gains high strength through processes of aging. It is operated under air conditions of up to 600°F (316°C) and resists corrosion in air and chemical exposure. These sheets are used in various industries of aerospace, marine, oil & gas, and nuclear, where dimensional stability and mechanical hardness are of major concern.
Andre Stainless is a renowned manufacturer and supplier of stainless steel products in Pulau ujong, Singapore. It is also applied in the aerospace, chemical, and marine industries. Andre Stainless deals with reliable, custom-made solutions with specific specifications and deals with high-quality products, and complete customer satisfaction in the Singapore and international market.
15–17.5% Cr, 3–5% Ni, 3–5% Cu, 0.15–0.45% Nb. It shows tensile strength of up to 1100 MPa, yield strength approximately 1000 MPa (following aging), and hardness of up to 40 HRC. The alloy is magnetic and thermally age-hardened at 480°C or 620°C, providing a flexibility in mechanical properties. It demonstrates moderate corrosion resistance comparable to SS 304 in a majority of environments. 17-4 PH maintains strength and hardness under mild to moderately corrosive environments and is perfect for rigorous applications with exact mechanical properties and dimensional stability.

Stainless Steel 17-4 PH Hot Rolled Sheets and Plates is available in any size. Sizing usually takes place between 3mm-150mm thick. The characteristics of the SS 17-4 PH are that they show excellent strength with high hardness in them, making their application possible under heavy wear resistance application.
Stainless Steel 17-4 PH Cold Rolled Sheets are available in 0.3mm to 6mm in thickness and up to 1500mm in width with a smooth surface finish. These sheets have improved mechanical properties and dimensional accuracy, thus suitable for precision components. It retains good corrosion resistance, suitable for aerospace and pharmaceutical industries.
Stainless Steel 17-4 PH Chequered Plates are offered in thickness between 3mm and 12mm with sizes up to 2500mm x 1250mm. Patterns give this chequered plate a slip resistance surface, making it aptly suited for industrial floors and stair treads. Corrosion resistance is excellent due to this alloy and ensures that durable service in harsh conditions will be possible.
Stainless Steel 17-4 PH Perforated Plates are available in a range of thicknesses from 1mm to 10mm and various hole sizes and patterns. The perforated design of these plates is used for filtration, ventilation, and decorative applications. They maintain high strength and corrosion resistance, making them suitable for marine and chemical processing industries.
Stainless Steel 17-4 PH Shim Sheets are precision thin sheets ranging from 0.1mm to 5mm in thickness and available in various dimensions. These sheets are used for precise alignment and spacing in machinery and equipment. They offer excellent corrosion resistance and durability in challenging environments.
Stainless Steel 17-4 PH Polished Plates are made in the following thicknesses, from 1mm up to 8mm, and size up to 2500mm x 1250mm. The plates possess a reflective surface finish. Such plates are used for architectural and decorative purposes where the aesthetic value is important and where corrosion resistance is required. The plates offer high strength and durability under outdoor and corrosive conditions.
17-4 PH Sheet and Plates find applications in aircraft fittings, nuclear waste cask, turbine blades, valves, and fasteners. Marine applications use it in shafts, propellers, and boat hardware. It is used in downhole tools, pumps, and wellhead parts in oil & gas. It is utilized by medical device makers in surgical tools and orthopedic equipment. Injection molds, aerospace assemblies, and pressure vessels also widely utilize it. Its higher mechanical properties enable designers to minimize weight while keeping strength intact. 17-4 PH is best suited for high-performance, corrosion-resistant structural parts functioning under conditions of both mechanical and environmental stressors.
