904L Stainless Steel Sheets and Plates consist of 19–23% chromium, 23–28% nickel, 4–5% molybdenum, with minute traces of copper and titanium. This alloy is renowned for its outstanding resistance against pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion. It has high strength, superior hardness, and weldability over a broad temperature range. It has tensile strength of approximately 490–710 MPa with superior formability, and SS 904L is ideal for harsh environments demanding protection against aggressive media, providing sustained performance and structural integrity.

Stainless Steel 904L hot rolled sheets exhibit excellent corrosion resistance in aggressive conditions, such as acids and chlorides.
